Default Reloading .327 Federal Magnum

I am having Hamilton Bowen re-chambering my Model 16-4 .32 Magnum cylinder to ,327 Federal Magnum.

Looking at reloading die sets, it appears that I can use my .32 Magnum dies to also reload the .327 Magnum rounds. Is my assumption correct? Thanks.

Yes. I just bought Lee dies for the 32 HR mag to load for my new 327 Mag. It's tough finding brass so I just bought 2 boxes of 50 of the Federal semi jacket SP. It's about $20 for 100 pieces of brass and same price for 50 rounds loaded.

I do not need many.

Here is a link to my 327

I snagged a bag of 100 from MidSouth. Low stock, so I only bought 1 bag, left the other for you guys.

Its good to know someone else got some! I heard about Freedom Arms deal some months ago on the S&W forum.
Why Starline doesn't consider adding is beyond me BUT they're having trouble keeping up with the more typical stuff i.e. 44 mag, 357 mag, 40 S&W etc.

Well NUTS! I looked at Freedom arms under accessories and did not see anything about brass. For $7 more I could have them primed. Oh well.

At their home page on the upper left it says 'About us' - click that - the brass is listed in 100 & 500 count prices. I just went there again and found it!
Its not under accessories.

I also ordered a 100 primed cases from Freedom Arms. Again, thank you for the tip.

I have been loading some up and crushed a few case mouths so I ordered some from here also.

Kinda like loading 32 ACP and 380, If the brass (which is thin) is not lined up perfectly, crunch goes the mouth.

I shot a box of the Federal 100 gr Soft point semi jacket. Man this is a wicked round.!

Average of 1395 FPS out of my little snubby. I just loaded some 85 gr XTPs and will see how they fly 6.6 hr of Win Auto Comp. Next test will be with HS6.
