What in the heck is a 25-2 ? You reload cartridges and shoot guns.

tlen
Hi tlen,
If you don't know then you probably can't help me.
25-2 is a .45 ACP revolver.
I reload cartridges for it and shoot them out of my 25-2.
The 155 grain bullet is an odd weight bullet and not a lot of folks have experience with them, fewer yet shooting them from a 25-2.
Thanks
Mike

Hi arjay
Hi arjay,
I may have to pick some up and give them a try.
I can't find anyone who used them in any way other than I did
I used them years ago at hi speeds in autos but never at target
load velocities in a 25-2.
Thanks
Mike

I didn't know they existed.I've been reloading 200 gr lswc for my 1911s for years and shooting factory ball every now and then. Those light weight bullets could be fun to fool with.

I sometimes gets confusing for some folks when only model numbers of guns are used. Not everyone knows every model number of every SW handgun and when the dash turned into a 45 Colt.

Howdy
Howdy Rule 3,
I am looking for someone who has one and some experience with the light bullets. If a person had one and used the bullets he would know what it is.
I did not mean to confuse everyone.
arjay, they are O.K. They put the old .45 comp guns to work. Otto Mataska (local smith) and I used to argue the merits of these light bullet. He thought they were dangerous and high pressure. My argument was they were no more, no less dangerous than the supers at the time. Loaded to major power factor they were LOUD!
Also at the time I did not have access to a .45 revolver but I always speculated that the bullets would shoot pretty good at slow speeds in a revolver loaded backwards over fast powder and down pretty far in the case.
I hate to have to buy a bunch of them to find out they don't shoot but a 100 pack won't break me and I might learn something.
Thanks
Mike
