Talking Leading in the forcing cone

I Have a 625 45 acp that has a lot leading at the forcing cone. what can i do about this. The bullets are hard but not real hard.

Get a Lewis Lead Remover. It has a cone attachment you use with brass patches that gets the lead out of the cone and another attachment that you pull through the barrel.

I agree on the Lewis lead remover- it's value cannot be underestimated! However, that is only a patch on a problem- why is it leading?

It's either the ammunition or the gun- both have many options on where to start to correct the problem.

I use a pretty soft lead bullet in my 625-6, but it's also big enough to not lead. Big bullets will increase peak pressures as they swage down in the throat, but the 625 will take much more pressure than a lead bullet will produce.
