Cool Big Bore Brass Tumbler

Anyone ever used a concrete mixer to tumble brass? Its overkill for small amounts, but you can put 3 - 5 gal buckets in and they really sparkle. I'm cleaning some 50 BMG in mine now. Also, does anyone like the liquid cleaner? Bought some from Midway, seems to work but I wonder if it may weaken brass thats "delicate"

One of the local shops I frequent uses a cement mixer that he bought just for polishing brass. He bought his at Harbor Freight. It's kinda small as cement mixers go, but apparently it works well for polishing brass. I know he sells used brass, although I always go with range pick ups and polish them myself.

about 20 miles from my office is Atlanta Arms and Ammo....and I have toured their facility....big ol' cement mixers is EXACTLY what they use to clean brass, and they have a bunch of them running all the time
