Default Accurate load for my S&W 67-2

Hi there,

I´m looking for an very accurate load with Bullseye,
or Titegroup with an 158 grs bullet. Not WC bullets !

The load could be as smooth as an .38 WC load

Thank you guys

I like 3.5 of BE as my standard practice load.

With a 158 grain lead bullet 3.4, 3.5, 3.6 grains of Bullseye should produce a very accurate and mild load. and you get 2000 loads per lb.

The OAL will be driven by the bullet you are using.

If you have a long slender more pointed bullet nose profile like a Lyman 358311 the OAL will be a little longer. If you are loading a bullet like a Lee TL358-158-2R the OAL will probably be a little shorter. Your bullet may have a small flat point for safety if loaded in tubular magazines. That will impact OAL.

I have never found OAL to be an issue with a 38 Special revolver with 158 grain bullets, just load the bullets you have to the correct length for them. This length may be the provided crimp groove, it may be to a shoulder on tumble lube bullets. On plated bullets you may need to just pick a length that looks good to crimp them at.
