Default Thoughts on the Hornady Lock N Load Conversion?

Has anyone tried used the Hornady Lock n Load conversion kit? I was wondering if it was worth changing over my Rockchucker too? The only negatives I can see about it are: having to unmount my press and use an impact wrench to remove the factory bushing, and having to purchase the bushings for new dies.

I use the LnL system on my Hornady press and I like it a lot, you can change dies in seconds and they always stay set. For a progressive it's even better because then you can do whatever steps you want without changing the entire setup, can run just a resizer, or just a seater, or crimper, or whatever. I like it.

I have the L&L Classic that came with this system and wouldn't be without it. I have all my dies set up and can pop them in and out in seconds. And they have never lost their setting.

I converted my RCBS Rockchucker and really like the quick change. The original bushing came out without issue.

There is a little give in the Hornady set up I have no issue with this but use it mostly for handgun ammo. If you are loading super accurate rifle say just slightly setting the shoulder back this may be an issue?

I like the idea of it, guess I will keep it in mind for further down the road. Cabelas has a kit now (Backorderable) that has the conversion bushing and 6 die bushings for $19.99. or if you like spending more and not getting as much you can buy the conversion bushing and 3 die bushings for $20.99.
