There are many books, Lee Modern Reloading is one, they list load data for plated bullets. If you're not sure, consult the maker.

What kind of plated bullets will you be loading ? A 230 gr RN and a 230gr FP may seat at different depths in the case changing the load density, so the powder charge will be different.

That's right; Rainier specifically states this:

"Q6. What if I can't find load data for your bullets?

A. If you have a load for a cast lead bullet, that will transfer across the board as far as our bullets go. We recommend a starting powder charge directly between the listed minimum and maximum load."

If you haven't already got one, pick up a Lee Factory Crimp Die. You will be very pleased with the results when used with plated bullets.

Berry's says low to mid jacketed data. I think with the plated bullets to at lease use upper lead or lower jacketed load data. Never ever use low lead data.

I used low lead data with an M14 and a Rainier plated WC. The bullet made it about 5 inches and stuck an inch from the end!
Also, it takes more pressure to seal a plated bullet. Accuracy was poor, even with bullets that made it all the way the target! Thats why I have not had good luck with Trail Boss and plated bullets, Berry's flat nose in this case. Poor accuracy, even with a full jigger of TB.
