10mm/40/45 all "in one powder"?
Is there one "do it all" powder?
1. Looking (hopefully) for a powder that I can load both 10mm/40 cal and 45 ACP rounds for both a semi auto and revolver use.
2. How much "hotter" does a round have to be to function in a semi auto than a revolver?
Thanks.

Power Pistol does it for me. If you use published data for semi auto reloading it will function fine in your semi autos.

You can use a slow powder and load them all hot.
Or you can use a fast powder like Titegroup and load them all slow to moderate.
But if you want the full range of velocity AND some semblance of efficiency (no smoky loads) then you need two powders.
This is the same answer anytime you ask about combining a low pressure cartridge (.45 ACP) and a high pressure cartridge (.40/10mm). Just can't outmaneuver physics.
As to a cartridge functioning in a semi-auto, that is a function of the recoil spring AND the cartridge. In general, a stock spring will function with the equivalent of factory ammo, sometimes a bit less.

I use AA#5 in all three. I use "Goldilocks" loads in all of my auto pistols and never have trouble with function.

You can load any powder in all three, but there will be compromises. You are asking one powder to run 17K-36K efficiently, not gonna happen. The best you can do is a medium burner like Unique, WSF, Universal, PP or HS6. All will work well for the 40 & 10mm for midrange to max but are not the best for the 45acp except at full power loads. Any are a good compromise though for all three calibers.

Another vote for HP-38 / Win 231. I use it for plinking/range loads in .38spl, .357mag, .40, 10mm, .45acp, .45 Colt.

40 and 10 are high pressure 45 is not. Power pistol works great in 40/10. Haven't put it in 45acp yet.

AA#7 works well for me in 40SW and 45acp. It meters well and burns clean. I also use it in 357 mag, 9mm Parabellum, 44 special, and 44 magnum.

Power Pistol isn't bad as a more recent powder.
I have been using WSF in that role for many, many years and am more than satisfied with it for everything except for really top end old school Norma level 10mm loads.

I'm using a ton of Power Pistol in 40, 10mm and 45ACP/Auto-Rim, but the 45 ammo is on the hot side, and the 10mm is on the mild side with lighter bullets. But it can be done!

Hard to get one to do it all, but you might try Hodgdon Longshot. It's loud with a lot of flash but builds full power 10mm loads.
For 45ACP I actually prefer HS6, but not for 10mm.

I've had good luck with both Unique and Power Pistol for all 3. I'm always fairly conservative and don't "push the limits" with my loads.

I use Blue Dot in the 170-180 grain 10mm loads as well as the 165-180 grain 40 S&W loads. WW231 is the powder of choice for 200-230 grain 45 ACP standard velocity loads and Unique for +P 45 ACP loads.
