Brinell harness tester
Does anyone use a BHN tester on their case bullets? I am thinking about getting one so I can tell what my bullets are coming out at.

I use the Lee...simple, cheap and small enough to drop in you pocket.

I use the CabinTree tester. More for my own information than anything else. I don't get too worked up about BHN unless working w/ upper end magnum loads or rifle pressures.

I have a cabintree and like it. The results are repeatable and much easier to read than the Lee tester. I sold an LBT tester I got in an estate sale as the CabinTree fit my needs better.

I have never found the need to know the exact hardness of a bullet. I know what I cast it with and I know that it works in my guns so assigning a number to it really serves no purpose for me.

I use a SAECO tester, and am very pleased with it. The vernier scale is easy to read.

LBT. Simple to use, and accurate to a fault. About $100.00 or so direct from Veral. I had a SAECO, and hated it because it would only work well on bullets, and it was really fussy about how the bullet set in the steps. Also, I can test lead ingots with the LBT, PLUS, it reads out directly in bhn, no annoying formulas or bell curves to deal with.
