Default Stability of a 35 gr .223

I have surfed around the 'net and not found what I am looking for.
I find Nosler's new lead free 35 gr BT interesting. IIRC all my 22-250's have a 1:10" twist.
So does anybody have any first hand info or a link to that these bullets do in a 22-250 at the top end of things.
I suspect 4K fps is possible with these light weights.

TIA

I'd suggest calling/emailling Nosler and asking them. It's their product.

A few years ago when you could shoot lead bullets here in Central Ca., I had a load for my 22-250 & a Barnes 40 gr. bullet that chronographed at 4400fps & sometimes a bit more. Sure was hard on a barrel, but deadly accurate. I didn't shoot to many of those before I cut it back to about 4000 fps. & could hardly tell the difference in explosiveness on ground squirrels.
I think those 35 gr. bullets are intended for 223 velocities & may come apart at the higher speed from a 22-250.Depending on your intended use you would probably be better served with a heavier bullet for the longer ranges, at which the larger .22 cartridges excel.

Absolutely agree!!
They should be the best judge of the bullets shortcomings - if any.

Ballistic Tip - Lead Free - Nosler - Bullets, Ammunition, Rifles, Brass, Reloading Data, Hunting, Shooting, Reloading, Load Data They state high velocity but do not mention twist on their 22-250 (which is probably 1:14) so I asked specifically about that.

Midway had 5 reviews (Ballistic Tip Varmint Bullets 22 Cal (224 Diameter) 35 Grain Spitzer Flat Base Lead-Free) that were very favorable.

My 1 in 9 223 will do fair with 52 but is happiest with 55 gr, the 1 in 7.5 5.56 likes 55-75 gr.

I tried the 35 gr. Hornady V-Max in a 223 Ackley. The only load I tried was a case full of H335 which chronographed at 4060 fps out of a 24" 1-14 twist barrel. They didn't group as well as heavier bullets, so I gave them to a guy who reloads for a 22 Hornet.

I run Barnes 36gr Varmint Grenades from my 22-250 over 4000fps. Very accurate, and they definitely grenade, they are also lead free...

40.7gr Varget, seated 2.37", Trimmed, neck sized Win brass. (you gotta tap the brass so the powder settles enough to get the bullet in.....)

Default Nosler replies

I know this is not an ideal view of their information but the XLS file and my programs (open Office) resulted in this. Apparently jacket holds together at high V and if all else fails, I can use them in my #1 22 Hornet
