Just got my 230gr .41 Keith bullets in the mail today from Dry Creek Bullet works I can't wait to give these things a try, will be loading them on top of 8.5gr Unique. My goal is to get around 1100fps for a controllable yet formidable load. Here is a pic of one, it is the bullet in the middle.
I'm going to assume the bullet on the left is a Lyman 410459 , correct?
Looks like the 230gr Dry Creek has a bit more shank.
No the bullet on the left is a .41 Hensley & Gibbs #258 220gr bullet, the original .41 Keith bullet. Keith drew up the design and had H&G cut the moulds for him. Keith was miffed at Lyman due to Lyman sticking his name on their 410459. Keith had nothing to do with designing the 410459 bullet. The bullet to the right is a commercial cast 215gr SWC, however they actually avg 210gr.
