Depends somewhat on how much you want to buy.

I usually rely on gun shows. When you factor in shipping, it's cheaper.

I just pick up whatever is lying on the ground at the range....a lot of it is .40 S&W and 9mm. Doesn't matter to me as I use all of it. In no time at all you will have an abundance many times over.
Just an idea for you........

In classifieds today there is a posting for 1900 rounds of .40 for $70.00 shipped. I consider that a good price.

Go on-line, there are quite a few dealers who specialize in fired brass.
Do you have an indoor range in your area, even close? Much of the shooting is done with factory new ammunition when the shooters do not reload themselves. Mostly it gets swept up and either recycled, sold to a dealer in used brass, or sold to the public. They will usually sell to the public if you ask.
Finally, gun shows.
I prefer local ranges. The brass will largely be as-fired, not "processed" by reaming primer pockets into little funnels.
