Default Hornady LNL LED Lighting

If you are using a Hornady LNL Progressive, here is a simple way to add LED lighting and the effect.
1. Inexpensive small LED flashlight on the open port of the reloader. Light does not interfere in any way. Fits like a glove. Also note the station following the charge which is a powder cop. Double protection.
2. The lighting effect on a charged case. Clearly see the charge.

This such a simple and expensive way to double check LNL charges visually and by a powder cop. By adding the light, I can clearly see my charge visually under the light AND see it again with the powder cop. The cop is an excellent safety feature which uses a small rod with an indicator washer. If the washer does not line up with the top of the cop, something is wrong with that charge. However, the LNL reloader's charger is super accurate (IMO). I check the charge of my loads every 5th load, using a scale...just to be extra safe and certain that nothing has changed. It has always been accurate on the scale. I enjoy the process, peace and quiet. I go slow and easy. No reason to hurry. No double charges....No Kabooms. Common sense safety. I've read threads about one too many Kabooms and will be stepping back on the range when shooting with someone who reloads. Always Safety First!

I am a rookie reloader and most of you guys know this stuff already....Plus some. I am simply demonstrating the use of an inexpensive and small LED flash light on the top port of a Hornady LNL reloader to add a measure of safety to reloading. That's all.

Check out;

inlinefabrication.com for all the NEAT LED LIGHT SETUPS.

He also makes other things besides lights for the LNL, Dillon, and others.

Good service, shipping included in his prices.

He makes some nice LED light setups for your safes too.

Thanks for the info. He wants $30 for his LED strip. I paid about $5 to do basically the same thing. However, it gave me some more ideas. Thanks for the info.

I believe Hornady is now selling a light strip for the press. I saw it on their website.

Bushido, you are really showing off your newness to reloading by using a $5 item that works good instead of a $30 item that may.

Just call me "Newbee". It will sound better than what the wifey calls me at times...haha. Just picked up an M&P40PRO and broke the news that I am interested in the Shield and the M&P22....OH BOY....did I get an ear full....haha.

I will check out the Hornady site to see their light strip. Thanks for the info Harrison_Creek. You'd think I'd be checking there, but that's why I am so simple to use an LED flashlight....DUH Newbee Bushido.

I have been using a Harbor Freight 2 for $7 flexible neck LED on my LnL. Works well.
I tried your method yesterday and it works better. All I had to do was turn my Lee Pro Auto Disk to the outside instead of the inside.
