tryed to feed so SWC in my WIN. 94 and it wouldnt lift and feed into the barrell thay are crimped in the top grove of the 3 crimp groves . Any one shoot SWC out of a M-94 i have a factory crimp die and a taper crimp die

First of all, Keith SWCs only have one crimping groove, any other grooves in the bullet are for lube, Keith style bullets only have one really big lube groove. Bullet designs, and their accompanying nomenclature are really confusing at times.So my first question is: are you certain you're dealing with a Keith style bullet? If you are, it's likely that the bullet nose is too long for the action, and the last little bit of the nose is hanging up in the magazine tube. If this is the case, you can try seating your bullets a little deeper in the case and crimping the case over the bullets first driving band. If you try this, you will need to reduce your powder charge to allow for less room in the case. If you don't, you could experience unsafe chamber pressures, depending on your powder and charge weight. The second option it to find a bullet with a shorter nose. If you;re dead set on using this exact bullet, a gunsmith who is familiar with '94s can cut the cartridge stop on the shell lifter back a bit to allow use of longer bullets.

You can seat them deeper in the case, crimp over the end of the bullet, like they do for short chambered 357Mag revolvers but the charges have to be reduced seeing as there is less room in the case.

I have a Marlin that will take them but nothing longer. I had a Ruger M77/44 that they would not fit in the magazine, you could have shot them single shot style but not used the magazine.

250-255 grain Keith bullets feed just fine in my Model 94. Fairly heavy crimp.
