Default Online Handloading Library

I just found a website with quite a few online handloading references (plus much, much more).

Cheaper Than Dirt - America's Ultimate Shooting Sports Discounter

on seeing the preview of this post - the above link goes to the library - if anyone would prefer to type it in its cheaperthandirtguns (not just cheaperthandirt) - with www. in front and .com at end, then add "/library" to the end

Rule 3 posted the "Table of CCI Primer Energy" in another thread and well I read the text above the chart and got curious as to the source. Searched it and found it in Speer Manual for Reloading Ammunition No. 7". They actually have the whole book online. Interesting read for me, I have mostly Lyman books, just spent a few hours reading the upfront stuff.

Anyway, couldn't quickly find the link on their page to see if they had other books, so I just shortened the URL to the address above and found a bunch of categories. Under the handloading of ammuntion section are a bunch of other references. I'm interested in Principles & Practice of Loading Ammunition, by Earl Naramore for now.

Lots of interesting topics - old books - thought I'd share. HAVE FUN!!!!

Excellent stuff! Thanks a bunch! It's interesting to look at the old loading manuals.

I really like older loading manuals. The care and painstaking effort used in the procedures (in the 30's everything was scarce) serves as a reminder that this is no casual hobby. My copy of Philip Sharpe's Complete Guide To Handloading is a treasure.

I just got a copy of Major George Nonte's Modern Handloading (1972) but haven't cracked the cover.

Amazing what is available for cheap on the Web...

Note that Cheaper Than Dirt has begun removing manuals and catalogs from their library to reflect their new anti-gun stance that they took after the Sandy Hook shooting.

is that why some of the links dead end?

I thought they might be in the process of building the site.

I guess they'll be moving into 'Cheaper Than Dirt Women's Lingerie'.

Maybe there aren't books in all categories, I tried several that worked. Many in the ammo category, AK 47, many old reloading manuals, and others. Don't be so quick to judge.

Rule 3 - this link should go to Speer #7

Cheaper Than Dirt! - Speer Manual for Reloading Ammunition Number 7

and this one should go to Naramore

Cheaper Than Dirt! - Principles and Practice of Loading Ammunition

I was a little disappointed when some of the links dead ended - but there is still quite a bit of good stuff there
