New Reloading Bench-CHEAP!!
Harbor Freight has their 6' workbench on sale for $139.99. It can serve as a very solid platform. It's wood, attractive and sturdy.
Take a look if you need one.

They are nice benches, especially when on sale.
You will need to anchor them well.
I have one 90 degrees to my larger reloading bench.

This is BEFORE I moved in! I had just gotten this as a gift from my wife and got it set up! Picture worthy!
Now, not so much, but, functional!

OHHHHHH, and on the opposite end of that bench, there now resides a RL450B that is partially converted to an RL550!
Just so you know!

I just started setting up by bench. We are remodeling the basement so I decided to make myself a small nook. I'm a beginning reloader, still in the learning phase. Starting with a basic Lee turret press (removed the advancing bar - should have gotten a single stage to be honest) and a Lee Load All II for shotshells (lots of skeet shooting).

I think the Lee Turret offers some advantages over single-stage presses. I took out the advancing mechanism the day I bought mine, and have used it that way for three decades since. But having all your dies set up in their own turret means you don't have to fool with any of the settings unless you want to, and caliber changes take about 15 seconds. All my pistol-caliber die sets have a designated powder measure attached, set up to drop the powder charge I use for my standard loads. Simple, idiot-proof, and I can crank out 300 rounds an hour if I start with primed brass.

Only one correction Papa, that should say: "crawl out", you can "crawl out" 300 rounds an hour!
I can CRANK OUT almost 1000 rounds an hour if I have my primer tubes prepped before hand and doing 10 of them takes about 10 minutes!
Just fooling around, friend! Good post!

Very nice! The only suggestion I might make would be that I see no power availability. A four-foot power strip along the length of the bench would be a good thing. Available at Wal*Mart and the like. Rhino 4' Metal Power Strip - Walmart.com

Yep. Thanks Blujax01. I have an outlet strip from an old computer rack that's about 4 feet long with 12 receptacles on it. I've mounted it across the back. I'll take another pic and post it later with everything setup. Still need to get a light to mount under the upper cabinets. Thinking about adding a 2x4 directly under the area where the press will mount. Might have some sag there when cycle the press. We'll see.

My bench.
Top is two layers of 1/2" plywood topped with laminate. 4x4 to mount the press to.

I have had my eye on one of these as well. I think if you watch the ads you can get a coupon to save a few more dollars on it as well. Look like a great table.

Nice setups. Anyone have any experience with Stack-Ons steel reloading bench? I've just seen pictures.
I've been kicked out of my garage by my son's car and dogs' cages. Relocating down to the basement, but space is narrow. Harbor Freight bench is only 20" wide, but Stack On's is 17".
