Default Noob questions

I just ordered a Lee Classic hand loader for 357 magnum.

Can anyone tell me where you guys are sourcing your components (casings, primers, powders, bullets)?

I'm looking for couple hundred rounds worth of supplies to start off with.

Suggestions for websites or stores around northeastern Pa?

In my area, I try to locate components at the gunshow, a large reloader attends the local shows and offers powder and primers at reasonable prices. If you have to purchase the components through one of the online sites (Midway USA, Widener's etc.), you'll be paying for the hazmat fees along with shipping.

Good luck in your quest,
Steve

Pretty much all online retailers are out of stock on primers and popular powder at the moment. You can try your local LGS. For brass you can check cast bullit forum I've seen lots of for sale on once fired brass there.

good luck
but try the ones listed and add midway
If you dont have any close friends that load . Best try gun shops the haz mat will make reloading expensive. Powder is all about $25 a lb so do some reading and see what works for your type of load.
Many powders work in the 357 but some require 1/2 amount of powder
Dont know what you are loading for but I would look at unique.
You dont need mag primers BUT you may find them instock. use them.
I do and drop 1 gr of powder

Berry's Manufacturing is my on line source for bullets - http://www.berrysmfg.com/

However since this-whatever-it-is all started their lead time went from 5 days to 5 weeks.

I am fortunate to be on the road every day (field tech) and as such have access to 3 or 4 great outdoor stores. Not that it matters much, their shelves are bare. Lots of folks with nothing better to do hanging around for hours on end waiting for the delivery trucks to land then grabbing all they can.

Powder: Large quantities of MILSURP from gibrass.com. Available elsewhere also. Canister: Local Gun Shops

Primers: Graf's, Widners, gun shows. Sitting on 30,000 right now of various types

Bullets: The garage. Casting is THE way to go for all of your handgun and lots of your carbine needs. Jacketed bullets; online. Powder Valley, Graf's, Widners

Cases: I have enough from over 35 years of shooting that I need no more. When I started, factory ammo. Now, I buy range brass from a local range @ $20 for a 5 gallon bucket.

Gotta look for deals and get familiar with the folks that run local stuff. Close friends that have connections works real well for me too!
