I cannot believe the shortages I have encountered looking for reloading supplies, I found brass for the M&P9C but no bullets, I found bullets for the M&P Shield 40 but no brass. I have not found any primers either but still have a few left! Is there any sources for these items anywhere?
Like everyone else, you need to make regular visits to the usual places. Deliveries come in and get sold as soon as they hit the shelves. You might go so far as to ask what time UPS usually shows up so you can join all the retirees milling about...
As long as we don't get greedy brass is still free for the taking at my local indoor range. With all the new shooters they appreciate us "chicken-pickin" - saves them repeated trips to the lanes to sweep up.
Bullets are readily available on line as long as you don't mind a 4-6 week wait.
As happened the last time - primers are the lynchpin and scarce. I found a box at a small gun store where I had bypassed their $40 price in the past as being excessive. Right now, that looks pretty reasonable.

blujax, thanks for the feedback, just a little fustrating, ammo is hard to find, and the componets are getting harder & harder to locate. I talked to the guy at Big 5, they had a sale on 9MM, when I got there it was all gone, anyway I asked did you have any 9MM for sale, he stated no, they sold out Friday right after delivery, the sale started on Sunday!
I have not shot the M&P9C or the M&P Shield40 yet, hopefully soon!
Most companies indicate when something is in stock or not. There are bunches of supply outfits. I just shop and order when I find what I want.... or nowadays at least something I can use.
