There has been some questions on the corret Oal for certain bullets in Auto and revolvers lately and though this picture might help out,maybe?

It has a 125gr lead cowboy and a 125gr Sjhp, along with a 158gr LRN and a 158gr Lswc (38 cal)The cases are belled the same and will show how far the bullets Ojive will let it enter the case.
Please note the difference of the 1st two and then also the 125gr cowboy vs the 158gr LRN !

very interesting - good point - that's a bit of difference in case volume. I'd like to see fully dimensioned sketches of bullets - are there any out there? hmm, have to do a search
