Default 10mm Loads

I'm reloading 10mm for a new build and need load data for 180 gr. JHP using AA #9 powder. My Lyman says 13.5 to 15 gr. for 165 gr. projectile. Thanks in advance.

Hello
Here is some research I've done with 180gr bullets in a stock Glock 10mm.

Glock 20 10mm - Handgun cartridge reloading - Metallic cartridge reloading - The Handloaders Bench

I found AA#9 to have as much power as any other suitable powder but does so with the least pressure. And was accurate enough as well.

One thing you have to watch for with AA#9 is how much you are compressing the charge. Not all bullets are the same length. If you try to compress #9 too much the bullet will start to move back out giving you a longer COL than you wanted.

I found this happening the most with the 180gr Hornady XTP and 14.9grs AA#9.

Here are some 10mm forums you find helpfull.

Have fun

I use 800X, but will not post the loading here, although it comes straight from DuPont.

Since HS-7/W571 is no longer available you will probably like the results you get with Longshot. AA#7 is also said to work well but I have no first had proof.
