Default Hornady AP price?

I don't keep up with prices on loaders so I need a little advice. I found a Hornady AP press for $464 plus $22 shipping. Is this a good price or is it inflated like every thing else? I can certainly wait for a better price. Thanks Don

Midway will backorder it for you at $430, and Natchez will notify you when they are in stock at $390.

So if you believe prices on stuff not in stock, the price is inflated. If you would value having the press for a month or two instead of waiting, the price may not look so bad to you.

Natchez will not sell to people in Tennessee, Alabama, and Georgia so that lets them out for me. If they are selling it for $390 others are too so I will wait. Thanks Don

Google and you'll find another selling - er, backordering - for $387 or $390, I forget which. Might have been Southwest.

I bought my LNL AP a year maybe two years ago now. It wasn't much over $300 and Grafs includes the shipping in the price.

IMHO everything is inflated right now and all the "out of stock" listings show that production isn't anywhere near demand. However once things calm down I bet we all see a lot of gear being sold for people that bought all this gear and not having a clue how to use it.

So if you are serious about getting into reloading I would wait a while. They admitted to not having the votes to even bring the AWB to the floor to vote and the UN was again shown the door so I hope things will start sooner than later returning to some kind of normal once the freak out types pay their taxes and find they are tripping over boxes of stuff they don't use.

Or if you are already a reloader then I would double wait as I personally can't wait to see all the stuff start showing up for sale. It's a sure thing powder and bullets will start showing up in for sale ads as once again a lot of clueless people started buying anything and everything they could.

I love the Hornady L-N-L but, right now, the shell plates appear to be even harder to get then the presses. So, if you order, be sure to include all the shell plates you want in your back order.
Graf is asking $430 for the press and $43 for shell plates. That is getting quite pricey.
Midsouth is at $390 for the press.
It is in-stock at Amazon (Grand Slam Sports and Outdoors) for only $532.47, or $616.79 for the press and two shell plates.

I paid $505 including shipping to the DPRC for the press with a .223 shell plate. Then I went and bought .308 and .357 shell plates from a different place. I wanted to get everything in place as quick as possible (living in the DPRC presents a different dynamic than other states) so in stock and quick delivery was worth an extra $50 to me.

I have a feeling in a year or two there's going to be a lot of reloading equipment on E-Bay.

Just bought mine off eBay buy it now $499.99 but I didn't want to wait until June from the vendors (actually my sons and I split the cost and are splitting the cost of the other equipment as well/whatever he uses)(so for 250 bucks I have a Hornady LNL press).
It will be here between March 29th-April 4th.

New in the box and the promotional option is there as well for the 500 bullets IF thy are even available .
