Hey guys, I want to reload using cast bullets for my .25-20 rifle. I have noticed that the bullets are available in .258 and .259 diameter. The data I have seen mentions sizing to .257. I don't want to buy a sizing press or dies. What gives here? Can I safely shoot .258 or .259 cast bullets (lubed) in my Remington model 25 or should I just stick with jacketed bullets? According to Remington advertisements of the 1930's they were promoting jacketed bullets in their model 25. I would prefer lead bullets. I have not had a chance to mic the bore of the rifle yet.
Thanks for any advice.
