I have a 45 cal. brass case that is stamped Western Auto. When I was a kid I used to go into the Western Auto Store but, I never knew they made brass casings. Do any of you have any unusal ones.. just wondered.... Thanks for your comments..

Western Auto and the Western Cartridge Co. are not related. I doubt very much that Western Auto ever made brass or ammo; they almost certainly contracted with one of the established manufacturers to produce it with their name on it. Lots of big retailers do this with lots of products.

I remember that Western Auto used to sell .22 ammunition under the "Revelation" brand name. I believe that it was made by Federal Cartridge Company. I haven't seen any in years.

I was told one time when shooting IHMSA Silhouette that anyone could order 50,000 pieces of new brass or more ant they would put whatever you wanted on the head-stamp. I have some 7mm IHmSA head-stamp rounds.

At one time Star Line brass would make custom head stamped brass. With a minimum order you could have anything on the case head...

Yep , many of the smaller ammo companies use Starline brass with their own headstamp.

For a minimum order , Starline will make custom spec brass too!

I have 2000pc's of their .41 Special headstamped (and shorter length) brass.
