Default Berrys bullets and C.O.L.?

I am using Berrys 240gr Flat Point for some .44spl that I am loading. I usually use the Hornady reloading manual for my information. I am looking for a Overall Length for these Berry bullets. Any help would be appreciated.

Default Berry's COAL

I don't know the dimension on the Berry's 240gr .44Mag FP but the Berry's 210gr .41Mag FP was very close to those of the Hornady 210gr XTP. So if the Berry's 240gr bullet overall length is ~.703" then you should be able to seat it so the cartridge overall length is 1.465", which is the COAL when I load a HDY 240 XTP in a 44 Spcl. case & seat it to the cannelure, which the Berry's doesn't have, of course.

I loaded 5.2gr of W-231. That will be 843fps. I looked on the Hodgdon website and it looks like 1.460 col. Does this sound about right?

Should be fine. A few thousandths one way or the other won't matter for this load. Do it!
