Just wondering what you have loaded 45 acp jacketed powder. I'm loading a 45 acp 230grn. lead bullet at 5.0 Ihave loaded 185grn at 5.3 and a 200 grn. at 5.3 and 5.5 Thanks for your input. I forgot to mention I'm using Win 231
My accuracy load from a 5" 1911 is 4.3 gr 231 behind a 200 gr cast lead SWC. (H&G68 mold). It's a mid range and will punch paper and take falling plates, but will not make major for ISC.
