Default Reloading data for Berry's .41 Mag 210 gr. plated bullets with 2400 or Accurate #9

I just ordered 500 plated Berry's .41 mag 210 grain bullets. I have a lot of 2400 and Accurate #9 on hand but no Unique.

I've done a lot searching for data with the aforementioned powders but can't find anything.

I'd stick with lead or jacketed but need the to work up a load for the Marlin, which has a micro grooved barrel, for pistol caliber lever action silhouette matches.

Thanks in advance

Hello from Switzerland

I prefere AA#5, but a nice load is too:

16 grains of AA#9 with Large Pistol-Primers and a H+N coppercoated (like the Berry's) 220 grains. COL is important. (1.574")

In a tubular-magazine is a good friction of the bullet in the case and a taper-crimp necessary. Watch for it to avoid rising gas-pressure!

My best load for 6" Revolvers: AA#5 11.0 grains, Large Pistol Mag. Primer and a Meister SWC 215 grains (lead)
My best load for 4" Revolvers: AA#5 11.0 grains, Large Pistol Primer, and a H+N Coppercoated (like Berry's) 220 grains.

Using of this data is at your own risk. Those loads works great in MY models S&W 57.

Use the Alliant data for the 210 Speer GD HP but reduce your load by at least 10% Alliant list the max charge and plated loads should be in the start or midrange of the Jacketed data

Alliant Powder - Reloader's Guide

Look up the Accurate data and apply the same reasoning for a plated bullet They give a start load for the Hornady XTP

Load Data « Accurate Powders
