H322 in Hornady case activated powder measure
Does anyone have any experience on how well H322 meters with the Hornady LNL AP and its case activated powder drop? Looking to load with 55gr .223 FMJ

Since nobody answered you question, I'll share my related experience. I use a Dillion case activated powder measurer. I have the most experience with Winchester ball powders in it. However, I did a small batch (400-500 rounds) of 223 with 50 grain Poly tipped Boat Tailed bullets with H 322 and a similar batch with H 335. The consistency of charge weight was not determinable on my best scale for either powder and it was fine for ground hog hunting out of both a bolt action and an AR-15, I just prefer the performance of WW748 with a 55 grain FMTBT. Both the Cooper 21 and the AR-15 repeatedly get 5 shot groups with less than 1/10" centers at 100 yards. The powder will meter fine in any quality powder drop, then you are back to finding components and a load your rifle likes. I hope this helped. Ivan
P.S. What part of Texas are you in, I have a son in the Beeville area. He likes to shoot 308, but can only find 100 or 200 yard ranges, and that isn't even a warm up for 308. Ivan

I don't shot a .223 ........but the w748 in my 22-250 with a
55gr bullet is my best shooter.
H380 works great up to and including the heavy 70gr Speer sp bullet in my 1-14" twist Bull Ruger.
Those powders should work with the 55 or lighter bullets, for you.
Good shooting.

I'm in the DFW area but hail from your neck of the woods (SE Cleveland).
I probably should have been more specific for the request. I'm actually asking for experience with extruded powders and the LNL powder measure.
I too try to always go ball powder for these contraptions but H335 is not to be found

Don't know about a Hornady case activated measure. I have used H322 in a RCBS measure, and a standard Hornady measure, as well as my Harrell's benchrest measure. It was very consistent in all three. H322 is a stick powder, but they are very tiny or small/short sticks. It tends to measure quite well and I have never had it bridge.
