If anyone had factory Hornady 124gr XTP/HP ammo can you please tell me the COAL. The current Hornady load manual has it @ 1.060" and I'm wondering how close the factory ammo is to that length.

One gentleman told me the bullet has a little line around the bullet for oal length.

Too bad they don't sell the flex tips..........but the standard bullet does work almost as well.

If you can get it up to 1130 fps, see what it does on water jugs or wet packs. This seems to be the minimum for my 9mm pistols for expansion to start.

in the 3" 9mm finals a XTP and two FTX bullets were in the finals, which shows it is a quality bullet.

I only have the Critical Duty factory ammo. So the progectile is alittle different.

Yes, if it has the little crimmpy line you need to use the trim to length to get it exactly like factory.

When the water jugs attack, I prefer Gold Dots!

One of the most accurate bullets through my 5" Pro.

Guys, I don't want to sound ungrateful because I appreciate your input but that is not what I asked. It was very simple, what is the OAL of the factory Hornady 124gr XTP/HP 9mm ammo. I know the plunk test will tell me what is right or my barrel and I know all the other stuff everyone likes to regurgitate. It really is a simple question and if no one wants to help that is also fine.
