Does a Dillon 650 come w/ primer alarm?
I'm about to pull the trigger on a 650 set up from Brian Enos (definitely happening today), but I don't see the primer alarm anywhere on his site. Is it the same item as the powder alarm?

No.
Primer alarm is part of basic machine. Powder alarm is an option.

No the powder and primer alarms are totally different. The primer alarm is included in the basic price and is critical (because you can't see inside the primer tube). Forget the powder alarm (because the powder hopper is clear and all it takes is a glance to tell if there's powder in the hopper)

If you're going to order extra whistles and bells, the powder check is the thing to get. Wish I could use one on my 550.

^^this^^ the primer alarm is a must on any Dillon press, or the LNL for that matter.
