Default Loads for a S&W 642

After going out the other day and seeing the other family member shoot her new 642 revolver...........

I went home and loaded a few test loads for me to try out of my heavier M49 and see where they might land and how the recoil felt.
A standard 158 lead at 655 fps (PF 103) was said to have a "Heavy recoil" by the young lady, so I worked around that figure to develop some loads to see what developed.

The little 125 lead "Cowboy" bullet is my lowest fps load for target use and I was amazed at how low it shot !!
Three other loads at around 600fps with the same bullet were a lot closer to POA.

I was very happy to see the 125gr worked out so well.........
I am hoping she can handle this load, since it is equal to a factory loading. The 110gr load is equal to the Hornady +P loading but I am getting ahead of my self.

Another trip to see how these loads do in "HER" revolver is what counts...... I have my fingers crossed that the bullets find paper !!
