Hornady 32 cal 90gr LSWC
Has Hornady stopped producing this bullet? I don't see it offered anywhere any more or am I just missing something?

A quick check of their website shows only XTP jacketed bullets in .32 caliber. Nothing in lead.

Last year I purchased a 1000 rd. box of the 98 gr. lead HBWC by Hornady from Midway.

I found some at a new reloading store. They were in little bags of 100. No bulk 500 or 1000 available. At $10.95/100, I only bought one bag. Loaded 50 in some .32 Long cases but haven't shot any. Too cold out. Hope Hornady hasn't dropped it.

I have used the Penn bullets .32 full wadcutter with great satisfaction. Would make a fine substitute.

There's a big difference between a SWC and a full wad cutter. I have to say that I've loaded several hundred of the Hornady swaged SWCs for my I-frames, my niece's J-frame, and my custom K-frame... and they always did great! I will be very disappointed if they will no longer be available in 500 round bulk packs and will have to go back to the old casting pot for a suitable replacement.
I need to do some experimenting with the Hornady swaged HBWC since that seems to be the standard for semi-auto target guns. They should do well for what they do in my revolvers as well.

Sent an e-mail to Hornady asking about the 90gr SWC. Reply came today. They have discontinued production of this bulleet and have no residual stock on hand.

Tomf52,
They are available at Cabellas on line item IK-215320 box of 500. I wouldn't wait too long to order - I couldn't find anybody else with them in stock.

I cast my own and use RCBS mold 32-98-SWC makes a nice little 98 gr SWC for my little "I" frame .32 SW long and my "K" frame 32-20. I size them to .314.

I used to buy 500 piece boxes from Midway for $15 a box.
Cabelas price is now $36.99.
Nice accurate bullet at low speeds with zero leading.
It shoots well in the Single Seven making nice clover leafs on the target.
To bad that Hornady will no longer make this one.

Missouri Bullet Co. has .32 Cast bullets of good quality. Just loaded a batch over 3.4 gr 231.

Those Missouri bullets sure do look nice.
Loaded some for the .327 at various levels.
Settled on 4.2 grains of Unique as per a previous post.
On the .327 I had to seat the bullet all the way down and crimp over the top of the last driving band.
Otherwise they are too long for the Single seven cylinder
Actually shot some that were longer than the cylinder and there were no hang ups as they cleared the barrel by moving rearward a bit.
