Default Scored some powder

Went to a gun show yesterday and did well...I guess. I got 10 lbs of Tightgroup for 135 dollars and a lb of IMR 4227 for 14...another 100 Starline 41 mag brass(new) as well as 100 44 mag brass for 15 per 100..Same fellow asked me if I was interested in 45 Colt brass so I had to buy 200 once fired prepped and primed brass for 25 bucks. Life is good when you are lucky..which I really haven't been lately..LOL

Wow, 10 lbs. of TiteGroup for $135? Very nice score! I paid $149 for an 8 lb. jug and thought I did well at that price. 1 lb. bottles?
Sounds like you did very well, indeed :-)

Hit the gun show yesterday and what little pistol powder there was had stupid price tags on them. My usual vendors said they just can't keep it in stock. Both had rifle powders I haven't seen I quite a while (W748, TAC, Varget) though. One vendor who popped up around a year ago had pistol powders...at $35 a pound and up. I did find a 8lb. jug of W231 all by itself for $199. No deal at $25 a pound, I'm just worried in the future I'm going to be sorry I didn't buy it.
As a consolation I did find S&B primers for $20/1K. I purchased a small stock of all sizes!

I get all of my powder and primers online. After the powder dried up a couple of years ago, I looked for a while but have since given up. Gun shows remind me of WalMart so I don't go to those. I normally find powder around the $20 per lb. price so with shipping and hazmat I pay around $22-$25 per depending on what limits that vendor has for that particular powder. I remember the "good old cheaper days", but I also remember when I bought a new pickup truck for $2700, those days are gone forever. I'm just happy that I can still shoot when I want.

I've maybe 300-400 hundred pieces of .44 mag mixed brass all cleaned and ready to be loaded that I'll give to anyone that wants it, but you'll have to pay the shipping costs just my guess they weight about 10 pounds could be as many as 500 pieces first come first first served.
