Default Lyman 45acp load data w/200gr LSWC

Hi folks, just looking for a little 'double check' here. I am not new to reloading but I am always cautious. I have been reloading some 200 gr 45acp bullets for use mostly in my 625JM revolver and was using Titegroup @ 4.8-5.2gr on plated Xtreme bullets.

I have a bunch of Dardas lead 200gr SWC's and some Bayou coated and have some Bullseye powder on hand. Using the 49th edition Lyman Cast book it shows a 4.9-6.0 gr load range for the Bullseye? I loaded up some @ 5.2and some at 5.5 gr...........Anyone see anything wrong about these loads? Oddly the Lee reload data is quite a bit different but the Lyman data has been good to me on other powders and loads.
Thanks, just need a little reinforcement here to be safe.
Karl

I load the 200gr LSWC HG 68 design and think that Lyman is crazy with 6.0 grains of BE!!

I do not post load data but for me that is way to high and use a much lighter load.

LEE data is not data from them, it is only copied from somewhere else. LEE never tested any of those loads in their book.

Have been shooting .45 for a number of years and been using a "Hand-me-down" load from my dad, a former Army shooter who used the load for 20 years.

I am using 4.0 of Bullseye behind a 200 gr, Rim Rock SWC, or 4.0 of Red Dot behind the same bullet in both the 1911 and 1950-45 revolver. Great 50 yard target load.

OK thanks for the input. Looks like they are 'safe' loads so I will shoot them but will start from minimum though from experience lowest loads are the dirtiest or don't give quite enough expansion and get some soot back on cartridge.

My 200LSWC at 1.250oal with 5.0 with BE gets a little snotty. I can't imagine going higher. 4.0~4.6 and you'll find dome good groups.

In my 45 ACP Pistols and in my 45 LC Revolvers, 4.5 gr. of Bullseye gives the best combination of power and accuracy.
