Default M&P Pro 9mm - Suggested Reloads

Never loaded pistol rounds before.
What recipes/bullets/powder do you suggest for the Pro 9mm 5" for target shooting?

Thanks

There is an endless number available. I try to match bullet weight to what I carry for SD, 124 grains in my case. HP-38/win231 is a good powder if you can find it. Meters very well and burns clean in the upper end of the data range.

For strict range use, try coated 115 grains lead bullets. Should perform well.

My personal favorite is 5.0 grains of CFE Pistol and a CCI 500 primer under a Berry's plated 124 GR THP or FP. This has been a stellar load for me. Accurate, consistent velocity, and very clean.

Another good load is 4.0 grains of Bullseye with the same components above. Accurate and consistent, but not as clean.

Both loads have cycled my 9mm semi-autos reliably.

Mike

you have to pick either.......
1. Lead
2. Coated Lead
3. Plated or
4. Jacketed bullets

1. light target
2. heavy target
3. +P loads ( c/o advanced loaders )

available primers and powder types.

after you read up on your pistol/revolver that you will be shooting.
No need buying stuff you will not need....................

Good luck.
