Some back yard work, watching a little U.S. Open and will reload a few .45 acp's later. May even run to the range if time allows.

HAPPY FATHERS DAY!

Went to a new indoor range in DesMoines yesterday with my gun buddys. Ate at Jethro's BBQ afterword. Today, had to clean the 2 M&Ps, the 586 and the 29.

134 Lapua 308 cases prepped and back in the tumbler now

May play with the Chargemaster later, or prep another batch of 95 cases. We'll see.

My wonderful wife and kids spoiled me today starting with breakfast . Western omelet with sausage on the side, grilled blueberry muffins and coffee . At Lunch my son made third pounder burgers on the grill , corn on the cobb and sweet tea. Just finished diner, homemade lasagna with sweet Italian sausage , garlic bread and green beans . Some brie cheese and French bread to top it off. I feel like a stuffed tick but boy it was good.

I guess you could say I RELOADED.

Got Dad (87yo) out of the house, took him up on the Blue Ridge Parkway to a picnic area, fired up the grill (with my brother and 2 brother-in-laws) cooked burgers/dogs etc, my sisters made all the salads, deserts, ice tea, etc. had a couple of family friends there and we all ate too much...they held a cheap Saturday Nite Special on me and made made me try 2 of everything...including those home maid pies.. thats my story and I am sticking too it...

My grandson and I hit the range together. I gave him a Remington .243 for his 12th birthday last week. He got to break that in while I broke in a mini 14 that I bought for myself.
