Default BE86 & .38spl

I just loaded 3.8gr behind a 148 DEWC at 1.25" OAL and they are sweet. It chronographed 830fps in a 4" ported 10-8. Low recoil, no flash and POA @ 35 yds. I'll have to load several hundred more of these!

Been on the hunt for BE86 for a while now, can't seem to find any to try out...Only looking in local GS, don't want to pay silly hazmat & shipping charges.

I ended up getting an 8lbs jug from Recobs. With the hazmat and shipping, it was about $20 a pound. It may be a little high, but I have enough powder now and the BE86 seems to load about any pistol caliber. It is also one of the best metering powders that I've used.
