Default What manual has H110 158gr LSWC data?

I have Lyman #49, Hornady, and I'm looking at Hodgdon Data center. Whiskey Tango Foxtrot???!!!! What am missing here? Why do none of them post 158 lead 296/110 loads? I got 500 Bayou coated bullets for this. I just assumed 158 LSWC would be posted everywhere since it's the classic .357 Magnum load.

My old Win manual says 15gr.
Also look at ppg 358-359 in Lyman 49 for similar data

As an aside, the bullet must be hard cast, correct size, and well lubed or you'll be scraping out the lead. I have some bullets that work well, but am not familiar with Bayou coated.

H110 is not the perfect powder for that bullet. It will push the bullet too fast and lead the gun.

I am not familiar with that coating. It may work but Lyman has not tested it, thus no data.

coated ... that'll be the HT system, you won't break its back in a pistol.
Never mind the warnings above.
the coatings are no joke and can be run up to full mag glory without compromise.

Loading procedures and data will be very close to the same as its conventional lubed counterpart, but, unlike the old way, you will not be back here to told to lube and size correctly when you can do nothing about it. It's just going to work.
give the cases enough flare to avoid shaving the coating off while seating.
show us your groupings.

Venom, you and I have been on the same page with coated bullets for sometime now. I completely agree with you. Problem is I'm finding zero data for 158 lead. I'm very confident the Bayou slugs will survive and thrive with a healthy charge of 110/296. I drive their .430 slugs out of an 1892 at about 2000fps with outstanding results.

The Lyman #49 manual is kinda all over the place for H110 charges from 150gr to 160gr Linotype, so I'm not really comfortable proxying 158gr. My gut tells me 15.5ish would work as a safe starting load, but I'd love to see actual load data if anyone can point to it.

Looking at the scariest data I have, the midway load map for 357, what I find is a fairly consistent starting load of 14.4 across all 158s. That should offer you that low side tickle of cushion you might be looking for on the way to seeing what data set from the Lyman it best responds to
