Perhaps go to Vectan Powder? (Nobel Sport)

Nobel Sport - 4 range of Vectan's powders - Used for pistol and rifle reloadings

Default Ba 9

I use Vectan Ba 9 for 45 colt, .357 and 44 spl. It is in the medium range (Unique range) burn rate. It is a really nice powder. Super clean, very accurate, measures really nice. Can't say anything bad about it...except it is made in France.

Data is on their site. Nobel has been making powders for a couple centuries. Vectan is good stuff, but I don't like getting into a powder that can be cut off by some stupid political swipe of the pen. One reason I don't use a lot of VV, well that & price. Certainly worth a try as long as you buy enough to make it worth the effort to do load dev.
