Scored 231
Walked into LGS and there was powder.
Yeah.
Then there was some of strange looking packaging for Winchester 231
A quick view of the website showed the new label. Four pounds later I'm happily driving home after waiting to find some at list price and no huge shipping charge.

Congrats. I scored a few pound of HP-38 at a gun show recently. Maybe supplies are loosening up for real.

It seems to be coming back.
Not sure how crazy I am about their seeming more frequent repackaging moves. I AM kinda glad they went away from this...

No Alliant powder in my area for 3 years now, but Hodgdon and Winchester powders available! I scored 2-8 lb. jugs of 231 a few months ago. LGS had TiteGroup 1 lb. bottles on sale from Black Friday till Jan 1st @ $15.99/lb. I already have 16 lbs. so I didn't buy any more.
Would love to find an 8 pound Bullseye and Red Dot, but nothing local :-(

I never see 231 but HP-38 is not uncommon to find around here right now. Never any Bullseye though. Tightgroup and CFE are always around.

Are you hooked into your local gun forum? Most forums have a reloading section and classifieds.
My California forum actually has a large enough demand that we have a separate "reloading supplies" WTS board. I've scored a lot of hard to find supplies that way. When I find something online I can order up enough to defray the hazmat cost by selling off excess.

Yea, I'd say it's finally freeing up. I was able to grab 2# of HP-38 and 4# of Clays from a LGS a few weeks back. First time I've seen either of those two flavors since Dec 2012. That should be enough to restock me up to my 3 year reserve again. Hopefully I don't need it this time. Got kinda close to the bottom of those cans in the last two years. Bullseye, Unique, Tightgroup and Red Dot are everywhere too. I'll keep a pound of each around just in case.

I'm personally not crazy about the new labels.
In this case, I like the old packaging better.
At least they're not all called "Clays"

I got 8 lbs of 231 off gun broker a few months ago for $25.00/lb delivered to my door. No great price but I'm very happy. That will provide a butt load of 44 special and 45ACP.
No question components are getting easier to come by.
