I purchased a bodyguard on gun broker.com. One of the magazines works great. I loaded six cartridges with no problem. The other magazine won't hold more than five. I've tried everything it just won't fit in. Any suggestions? Thanks.

My first step on any new magazine is to disassemble it, deburr, clean and dry it, and make sure it is reassembled correctly, with the spring turned the right way.

Chances are the one magazine has been re-assembled with the spring either/or/and upside down or backward. Disassemble the one that takes 6 rounds paying close attention to the spring position. Then disassemble the one with the problem and make sure it is re-assembled the same as the one that works correctly!

Two followers in the magazine?

Thanks for your help. It was a new never used magazine. I took it apart then reassembled it. Works fine. I guess It was the spring getting hung up or something
