Default 22 Jet safety issue?

Since .222 Jet bullets (at reasonable prices) are nowhere to be found can a 5.45x39mm (221 Diameter) 60 Grain Polymer Tip bullets be safely loaded in a 22 Jet case?

Has anybody ever used a 60 grain .221 bullet in a 22 Jet?

I have reloading data for the 60 grain bullet but am looking for at least one more reputable source for confirmation.

Because this is an undersized bullet I don't expect match accuracy but what about the safety issue.

Your advice is appreciated.

Have had a Jet since 1970. I mostly shoot the 45 gr .223 bullet for the hornet. You can find them easily. I load 11 gr h110, and 12.5 h4227. I have been trying the barnes 40 gr .224 #22429 with h4227 and h110. Using 12 gr h110 and 13 gr h4227. No problems at all. I clean loaded rounds with break cleaner sprayed on a rag and use q tips for the cylinder. Primers stay round and extraction it no problem.
