Anybody try Zero's new .38 caliber 130 grain FMJ ?
It's .357 diameter and FMJ round nose . Thinking it might be a good one for IDPA with my 686 .

The 158gr bullets are far and away the most popular in IDPA SSR for .38, for the reason of making power with minimum recoil. Paradoxically, for a given power factor, the heavier bullet produces a lower recoil impulse.

The only paradox is not realizing the difference between recoil = momentum = PF and the fact that perceived recoil is not the same as actual recoil. Heavier bullet must travel at a markedly slower speed for the same PF, so it will spread the recoil out a bit and "feel" lighter.
If it wasn't a RN, it would be interesting for my 9x19s, 9x21s, and .38 Supers.

Actually it's a round nose flat point . The tip of the bullet is flat.

Do you have some, Nick? I saw them listed on the Rose website, but they didn't have any picture of them. If you have some, please take and post a picture of them for us to look at. I'm also curious what their 125 grain conical looks like also.
