There comes a moment to a man's life :)
So I've been a happy user of a 550B for like 5 years now but recently I've looked around and realized that it's very lonely, so I had to put and order for a big brother to keep it company and 650XL is now on the way 550B still see some actions, of course, some odd calibers that I reload but volume (9x19, 40 & 357) will be transferred to big brother. Can't wait

That's a slippery slope, I suggest you make plans for further bench expansion. Congrats.

Luckily, those all take small pistol primers. I hate having to change the auto prime and primer feed to and from large and small. Plus, having to have a stash of both large and small primers is a pain.

No my friend. You are good to go. Take your time learning the 650 platform and most of all have fun but double check everything and don't be in the BIGGEST hurry. I use 3 different 1050s but only because I only paid 350 for the first and 550 for the 2nd. The 3rd was about retail but I load a large amount of a caliber and retire the loader for a year. I am corralling up all the 38 brass right now and will load a couple 5 gallon buckets. The 223s are all prepped and the 650 will knock them out in 10 or 12 hours. Probably the one I shoot the least though.
Oh BTW give us an update on your progress. I hope you have LOTS of brass to load

There is . . . but the 12th step is:
12. Having had a spiritual awakening as the result of these Steps, we tried to carry this message to reloaders, then bought some new equipment and went back to reloading.

It can be a problem, I now have 3 550s and a 450 with 550 priming and powder system that stays set up for 45 acp.

Ah yes... the quest for speed. The quest for more and... the quest for accuracy. It is a never ending search. Mainly cause some damn company keeps coming out with a damn new and improved tool. Don't know about some of you guys...but I just gotta have it! RWSmith...I accept the challenge. Single stages it is...but I gotta make sure I have all the newfangled....aaarrrggghhhh

*Groan* See what you've done, now I've realized that I don't have a good single stage that can be up to the challenge. NO, I... must... resist ...

Finally fedex was kind enough to stop by at my house and I was able to introduce a bigger brother to my 550B. Here's the picture of the happy family
Mounted them both on a portable "bench" that I C-clamp to my desk (have to shuffle things around due to space restrictions lol). This weekend is going to be fun - 2k of 9mm awaiting
