Default New Source for Cast Bullets

Just a FYI, I have loaded and shot a couple 1000 of the Summers 130 RNFP bullets in my 38 Specials, and they compare favorably to the Missouri Bullets I was using, except they are 2 cents a piece cheaper !
Loading them mid range with 4.4 grs HP38, they seem as accurate, and as well cast as MBC bullets.
I will try the 200 SWC 45's I have from Summers next, but they are an exact match to the MBC I have been using.
They do not have the variety of bullets available as MBC, but they are worth a try !
No issues with ordering, delivery, or the product.

Nice to know of another source for cast bullets. I'll check their website to see if they carry rifle bullets. I'm looking for 170 grain cast round nose for my 32 WS.

Looking at the 9mm 125 gr., they are $21 for 500, while MBC wants $32. WOW! That's 4.2 cents vs. 6.4 cents each. Good deal for sure. Shipping is the same.

I cast a lot of my own. At these prices it's hardly worth the effort to fire up the furnace.

Appears he is out of the office until June 14

My MBC bullets will be ordered and here before that.

Welcome to Summers Enterprises, LLC, makers of fine hard cast lead bullets.

I ordered 2 boxes of 9mm from MBC on Tues. and got them on Fri.! Just 2 1/2 days flash to bang.

Am finally trying the new (to me) "Hi-tek" coated bullets. Cost only $2 more per box. Got the grooved and grooveless. Be a while before I try them as I'm up to my knees in 9mm right now. But if I were ordering traditional cast lubed I think I'd give Summers a try. Always on the lookout to save a buck!

Yep, MBC is a fast shipper for sure. However, I usually keep enough stock that shipping lag is not an issue, so I focus on cost.

Sure cost is always a factor but I like to see how well a company works out first. With all the bullet casters out there I like to see some track record first. (as with anything)

Generally get what you pay for.

Huh, might have to try out some of his .44s. I don't like how hard the .38s are, but what they hey, .38s cheap to shoot anyway.

Update on the 45 cal 200SWC's, loaded 500 and tested fired, could not tell any difference from the MBC bullets I was using.
Quality of the bullets, 38 and 45 has been excellent, weights are consistent, no unlubed bullets, will be ordering some more.

I have loaded approx 5000 130gr RNFP's 38cal and the 500 45SWC's and have not found a bad bullet yet !

Next time I will report on the 9mm 125gr I ordered.
