Default Senior moment

A short time ago I poured all my 45ACP reloads into a large box to save space. Today I reached in that box and got a handful and attempted to load them into some new 1911 mags. I could not get the rounds in no matter what I tried. After a few long minutes I finally laid them down and thought a little. I had mistakenly put a box of 45 auto rim( I reload and shoot both) in that same box and was trying to get an auto rim round into ACP mags. I sure felt quite foolish. Glad nobody saw me.

Now that I'm yet another year older, I find myself forgetting what I walked into a room for more and more.

Well, at least you're still in the room, instead of having wandered outside in the night then wondering how you got there.

Default A few long MINUTES????

Usually something like that dawns on my after a few long days. I got out into my garage at 2:00 am and check it, then I slap my head. The 'good' part is that by the time I wake later that morning, I don't even remember that I made a mistake!

Maybe they would go in the mag, if you used a big enough hammer!

Back when I worked I'd tell people that people that did my job were the ones that got the square pegs in the round hole. You just need the rite hammer. Been putting square pegs in round holes since 1st grade!

Talking about square pegs and round holes..........

you been looking over my shoulder while I load 12 Ga. on the Mec Jr ???

Some shells need a lot more pressure than others and the crimp
does not always look too great.............
but it is only a shotgun shell.
