Default Win 572 for 28 Gauge

I'm just starting to load 28 ga., and I came into a lb of Win 572, "Made for 28 Ga.". When I try the Win website and go to data, I get the darned "Server Not Found" page. I've tried it several times always get same results. I emailed the "Contact" for the website but no response yet.

Anyone have data for this powder with Win AA hulls, Cheddite primers, Clays CB1034-28 wads, with 3/4 oz. 9's to get 1200-1300 fps?

Winchester powders are now distributed by Hodgdon. The older powders are note on their sight. Try doing some web searching.

My brother used Unique for 1200 fps. I use Longshot or 1300 fps. There are some others too.

I've gone to the Hodgdon website also, and from their site also get "Server Not Found" trying to like to this powder data. I have this 572 powder, and it specifies especially formulated for 28 and 20 gauge. I want to use it but can't find any loading data.

I went to the Hodgdon site and found it in 12ga and 20 ga. It returned 61 loads in 20 ga. Did not look further.
I selected 20ga, lead shot, AA hulls, and 572 powder showed up at the top of the powder list.

I have been there and just went there again. Try and find a "28" gauge load with win 572. There are no loads listed at this site for any 28 ga. with 572. I don't want 20 ga. just 28 ga.

Does Winchester(Hodgdon) have a powder specifically formulated and advertised for 28 ga. and no loading data on line?

Wasn't 572 discontinued several years ago?

Man, I don't know what's wrong with your link today. Do you have a fancy pop up blocker that could be interfering?
I went here:
Put a bead on shotgun reloading data | Hodgdon Reloading
Selected 28ga, then "Win 2 3/4 AAHS....hulls" (you must select a shell), then "lead shot". 572 comes up on top of powder. Select 572

Load is AA Hull, Ched 209, CB 5034-28HS
Maximum Load
Grains 15.0
Pressure 12,200 PSI
Velocity (ft/s) 1,250

Thank you very much, I put in "lead", WinAA hull, and I got a page of data but 572 is not listed. This is at the Hodgdon website. No Win powders listed. When I put in for 20 Ga, then it showed a group of listings, but not for 28 Ga.

I think I discovered your problem. You have to select the Winchester HS hull. There is no data for the old AA hull. Hope this helps.

I did find one site that stated that w572 is like SR4756 in shotguns.
Another posted that it is like CFE or WSF in pistol loads.

Being new, data is slow getting to the public.
Hang in there............ or call.
