Little gadgets that help
Here's one invented by a friend of mine. Really saves a lot of arm muscles for those having a single stage press. Anyone else have reloading gadgets they made?

Using a web browser go to mikeinkaty.com/IMG_0565.MOV
Or just cut n paste that into your browser. Does this forum allow posting videos?

Unless I am mistaken the .MOV file extension requires the Apple Quicktime player - something that 99.9% of non-Apple computers don't have installed. My laptop won't play it.
EDIT: I was able to find, download, and install a Windows-compatible version of Quicktime and then download & play your video clip...

Well that's a bummer. I'll see if I can capture a still that will show the function.

I've made lots...
I've made lots of little things that make the job easier or better. I made a 'feeler' out of wire to check the insides of rifle cases for wall thinning. I've made a variety of powder scoops for special loads that I use a lot. (It's faster to just scoop a few cartridges rather that get the powder measure set up. (With this new micro adjuster for my RCBS Uniflow, that may be outdated). I've made big loading blocks cheaper than bought stuff and twice as big if I want to make a large batch of a hundred or so. I'm sure there is more, but that's what I can think of right now.

When I started reloading I made my first case tumbler out of a 5 gallon bucket and a gas dryer motor along with a few pulleys. It did about 6 RPM's (needed to be about 3). 300 9MM cases in a steel drum is very loud!
I've turned old waterbed frames into loading benches!
Some of the primer tubes are so tight that primers bind, so a light weight follower is needed to gently push the primers. I cut a metal coat hanger so it is a long "J", and leave it just long enough that the tip holds the primer cup when out of primers, this is the warning that the progressive press is out of primers.
A hair blow dryer makes a great bullet sizer "Warmer". WARNING: don't take the wife's hair drier, buy a new one and use it or swap her! For some reason, women folk don't like bullet lube "finger prints" on their blow drier!
A "Miracle Whip" jar lid with the cardboard liner removed, makes a good "Pan" for pan lubing bullets. Use the above blow dryer to melt the lube.
Lastly; any hand crank case trimmer should be mounted to a short length of 1x4 or 2x4, with the crank end mounted with the end of the board ant the other end 2 or 3 inches longer than the trimmer. This protects your knuckles and gives room to clamp or temporarily screw the trimmer to the loading bench.
