Late 1800's tools mold marked 80/42 tool reloading tong. Winchester box of brass original box bullet mold powder measure man wants $300.00 should I dive in with both feet?

Personally I wouldn't be interested but I don't know how collectable antique handloading tools are. I'd suggest searching the internet before dropping $300.

I'll bet it was marked .40-82. That was a popular chambering for the 1885 High Wall and the 1886.

Winchester made a number of different models and some are worth more than others. There are specialized collectors, but the tools can be hard to sell. Unless the loading tool is a rare variation or in superb condition, I'd pass.

Depends on how bad you want it. I had a 44-40 tong tool given to me years ago that appears to be manufactured by Winchester and so marked. It has a brown patina, but could actually be used for loading if desired.

I don't know what it's worth, but it would have to ne NIB for the price the OP posted.
