.32 H&R - favorite load?
For you .32 H&R aficionados, what's your pet load for accuracy? I've got a 5.5" Single Six that I'm trying to find a good load for, so far without success. I've tried Trail Boss and IMR 4227, both under a 100 grain RNFP bullet and a Sierra 90 gr Sports Master bullet and about the smallest group I've gotten is baseball-sized at 20 yards.
Any recommendations?

Factory Specs for the 98 Gr Lead load is 1020 FPS & 219 FPE from a four inch revolver. Your Single Six isn't built as strong as the SP-101.

I carry Hornady XTP 85gr. Over 5.6 gr. HR-6. It's listed as a max load on hodgdon's web site.

Not hot, but accurate and fun to shoot in my 16-4; 100 grain cast SWC bullet with 3 grains of Titegroup with CCI 500 primer. My first 32 H&R was one of the original Rugers; never could get it to shoot well for me. Good luck.
