The view from my bench differs a little since I produce my own projectiles. more said projectiles from a given block of lead is favored.
You could benefit from this as well ...
where you seem to subscribe to the "you gotta kill it before you eat it" school of thought as it may apply to melons, you might find my lighter weight at higher velocity approach a bit more satisfactory.
